Sales Development Representative – UK Education
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced telesales and appointment setting candidate to join a great organisation in Hove. The job is within a friendly team and we are looking for target driven candidates with previous experience of appointment booking and selling over the phone, email and social channels.
You will:
- Convert marketing leads into appointments through email and calling
- Generate appointments through outbound email and calling
- Work to achieve individual and team targets
- Administration and associated project work as needed
Key Responsibilities:
- Make calls and email organisations from prospect lists provided and obtain organisation
- Research companies to identify relevant company ‘gate holders’ and update databases when needed.
- Continually manage a prospect pipeline, scheduling and honouring future call backs, ensuring accuracy of pipeline and clarity of data notes
- Follow up on direct or online marketing campaigns and other marketing leads
- Calling customers to invite them to attend company sales presentations and events
- Ensuring you are up to date with current market knowledge concerning customers, competitors and new

Account Manager
This role is for an enthusiastic, confident and driven professional to work within our regional Account Team to support our service implementation, customer adoption and user experience of IRIS Connect, leading to increased engagement and repeated renewals.
Responsibilities Include:
- To develop and maintain customer relationships with senior leaders within your allocated portfolio of schools, colleges and MATs, from initial purchase along the customer journey to renewal
- Schedule and deliver onboarding and training workshops online or in schools
- Drive successful customer implementation, widespread adoption and ongoing engagement with the technology in line with identified goals
- Assisting teachers in embracing the benefits of video in the classroom for effective teaching and learning
- Commercial focus:
o Renewals
o Referrals
o Providing additional educational services and products
o Other collaborative and revenue generating opportunities - Working with our strategic partners’ teams to foster collaborative practice
Skills, Experience & Traits:

We are looking for an ambitious and driven individual to work for our business development function, who is motivated to succeed and realise the potential for expansion of our market reach. The ideal candidate will be professional, target driven, collaborative and adaptable, with excellent communication skills at all levels both inside and outside of the business.
- Effectively present our proposition and key product features and benefits to prospective
customers in online and face to face meetings - Develop a deep understanding of customer needs and challenges in order to provide
personalized assistance throughout the consultative sales process - Meet agreed KPIs and sales targets on a consistent basis
- Understand and keep up-to-date with the market trends, provide market insights and take
initiatives - Provide quality customer consultative support to customer schools, foster collaboration and generate referrals
- Gather customer feedback to help improve and enhance our offerings
The right candidate will:
- Have at least two years of experience in a consultative environment
- Be self-sufficient, organised and able to manage own workload
- Be confident and articulate in all methods of communication with good written skills
- Be able to collate and interpret data to effectively update, analyse and interpret our CRM
database - Be adaptable, a quick learner and committed to ongoing learning and professional
development - Experience in the education sector will be an advantage
