Stratford School Academy
Javeria Zahid and Wahida Begum lead on coaching and professional development at Stratford School Academy, a mixed 11 to 16 secondary school in Forest Gate, east London. They took the school from formal, high-stakes lesson observation to six half-termly coaching drop-ins, using video to put reflection in teachers’ own hands. Teachers who once ducked away from observers now volunteer to be recorded.
