This course will give you an insight into the use of video-supported collaborative learning, including models, tips and tools to create your own video-supported collaborative learning scenarios.MOOC ViSuAL Logo

It was developed by the ViSuAL Knowledge Alliance, an Erasmus+ project which brought together experts in the field of video-supported collaborative learning from 6 teacher training Higher Education Institutions (HEI) and 6 education technology providers from across Europe.

This MOOC is divided into three modules:

  • VSCL – Changing roles of the teachers
  • Video technologies for VSCL
  • Planning a learning scenario

Target audience
The course is targeted primarily at educators in HEI and Vocational Education and Training (VET). However, any teachers interested in video-supported collaborative learning at initial and in-service teacher education, primary and secondary education, or educational designers from educational technology companies are welcome to join.

Duration and workload
This MOOC is a non-stop MOOC which means you can sign-up and start studying at any time. We estimate you should spend about 10-12 hours working through the course depending on your level of engagement.

Certification
After completing all the learning activities you will receive a certificate of participation.
