IRIS Connect voted most innovative solution at #NOT15
The De Telegraaf media group has selected IRIS Connect as one of 4 best innovations at this year’s National Education Exhibition (NOT), the largest education show in the Netherlands.
Amongst a plethora of new digital possibilities, IRIS Connect was identified as an exciting proposition for professional development in the Netherlands.
IRIS Connect have partnered with Saxion University, who are incorporating the technology into their teacher training curriculum. Saxion are also beginning to work with schools across the country to embed the use of video-based CPD as a powerful and supportive tool for teachers.
“Research has shown that 94 percent of teachers (users) actively using the system indicated that teaching has improved and 88 percent increased their self-confidence. The primary school De Flint in Deventer will soon be the first in our country to start using this innovation.”
Ger Wisselink of Saxion University
Having established themselves as the market leaders of video-based CPD in the UK, IRIS Connect are excited to be extending their community of over 1,600 schools across Europe. The growth of the community presents an exciting opportunity for teachers to collaborate and share practice across the continent.
